Working in the fast-paced and creative world of live events, Susan Schroeder has over sixteen years of experience in event production. For the past eight years, Susan has been a producer on the televised Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which airs on CBS and CW to over twelve million viewers. The Victoria’s Secret Show has filmed at a variety of venues in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City. As the Show Producer, she oversees everything from model casting to technical production, working closely with both the design and directing teams. Susan also produced for Fashion Rocks on CBS for two years. These opportunities have allowed her to merge her interests in fashion, television production, and music performance.
Susan was the Executive Producer of OBO llc., an international event management and production agency, for ten years. Leading the company from its inception in 2001, she helped build the business from the ground up, beginning in Paris and Cannes on such events as the first YSL fashion show by Tom Ford. In New York, she has produced numerous fashion shows both in the Bryant Park Tents and the Lincoln Center Tents, as well as in many diverse independent venues. Susan was also responsible for the build and management of the Lobby tent in Bryant Park for twelve seasons, serving as the production liaison to all Fashion Week sponsors. For the retailer Target, Susan produced various events including the successful Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, and William Rast pop-up stores.
In 2011, Susan founded her own event production company, Todo Productions. Her clients have included Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, and The Paley Center for Media, as well as private celebrity clients for whom she produces several events a year. Before her career in fashion show and event production, Susan worked in nonprofit theater. Her passion for live events, fashion, and the excitement of television has led to several amazing collaborations, and she looks forward to many more in the future.
